Fiber optic end glow cable consists of multiple strands of fiber optic cable in a flexile PVC jacket which makes it easy to handle and provides protection to the cable itself. Fiber optic lights are ideal for use in architectural, landscape, feature, signs and swimming pools. When placing an order for fiber optic end glow cables specify your order length in feet. Spools are established lengths and can be cut shorter to specific lengths. There are many different sizes to fiber optic end glow cable for all the different applications.
End glow cable has a bend radius of .5 inch to 2 inches depending on the thickness. It is suggested that you do not bend the cable beyond the bend radius or you will break the individual strands inside which will cause a light loss. Fiber optic end glow can be used with 75 watt halogen lights and we suggest that you do not make your run length greater than 50 feet. We also offer 150 watt halogen and metal halide fiber optic illuminators as well if you are looking for more powerful lights. The larger the cable is in diameter the more lumens you will get out of fiber optic end glow cable.
